Even if you have the worst credit in the history of the United States, there are still some tips, and tricks that you can use in order to get that loan you need for that car purchase. Since most of us need a car to get back and forth to the grocery store, work, and more, you’re going to find that it’s essential to get a loan as soon as you can.
Try P2P lending clubs - Services like Lending Club are amazing, because it allows anyone like you, and I to get a loan from the public. What you’ll do on a website like this is input your information, and tell the public what kind of loan that you want, and why you need it. Lending Club will do a background check on you, and let the public know your credit score, etc to show them who they are dealing with.
When the public decides to lend you money, they are going to make money on your loan, because you’re going to pay it back, plus interest. It’s going to be a win-win for all. This is definitely the first choice that I would take in order to find a loan that best suits you.
Lower your price range – If you have enough cash in the bank, you may want to just purchase the car 100%. You can get cheap, smaller cars for as little as $3,000. I know it may sound like a lot if you don’t have a lot saved, but it can be done, especially if you have a lot sitting in your bank account.
Jump to friends and family - This is the last resort that I generally would take, but you’re going to find that banks, and other lending institutions aren’t going to lend to you. Instead of stressing out, because you can’t find a loan, your best bet is to call up a friend, or family member. Tell them that you’ll write up a binding contract, and pay them back. If they trust you, you should be able to get something out of it.
Car loans can be hard to come by, especially if your credit is lousy. Make sure that you try some these tips above, and see if you can work it out so that you can get the car that you need.
